Vacation grande and a back-to-back run, anyone? Here is a rare opportunity for travelers-runners. You might want to run on May 14 and 15 in Barcelona, Sorsogon and in Legazpi City, Albay.Known for its beautiful centuries old church made out of coral rocks, Barcelona town will hold its first ever running event, the Dalagan Barcelona 2011. You can enjoy swimming in Rizal Beach, one of the best beaches in the region, or in Bulusan Lake before and after the run.
On the following day, join Run for Life in Legazpi. Take the 10km category to see the "other side" of the city. From Peñaranda Park, where the starting and finish line is, the route covers the Old Albay and Port districts of Legazpi.
