Fr. Amado Picardal, CSsR now in CamSur

As of yesterday, Fr. Amado Picardal, CSsR has covered a distance of 983km. He is currently in a looong journey to Aparri, Cagayan which began on April 1, just after he celebrated the Mass for Life & Peace at 6 in the morning in his parish church in Davao.

In his itinerary, Fr. Picardal would travel from Libon, Albay to Naga City which is about 50km early this morning. Tomorrow until Friday, he will cover Naga City to Lupi, CamSur (43km) and Lupi to del Gallego, CamSur (46km).

The Filipino Redemptorist, Catholic Priest based in Mindanao is walking and running "to express support for the peace process between the Government of the Philippines and the National Democratic Front, and between the Government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front;"

"To express opposition to the ongoing destruction of the environment caused by logging, mining and coal-fired power plants;"

"To denounce the continuing extra-judicial killings perpetrated by death squads in Davao and other cities in the Philippines;" and

"To express opposition to the Reproductive Health Bill (HB 4244)."
